I had a great time thanks to the helpful staff who arranged a mini-trek tour for me. The kitchen prepared sandwiches for lunch, and the whole experience made it very convenient. Afterward, I relaxed while enjoying the view of the surroundings. The breakfast was delightful, and the Wi-Fi worked well too. As a single traveler, it was fulfilling to have my needs met easily.
The location required a 15-minute uphill walk from the main road, which was a bit tedious.

perfect base for exploring el calafate's stunning sights
I really enjoyed my stay here. the staff were incredibly helpful and the food was outstanding. It was only a pleasant 10-minute walk to the center where you can explore landmarks like the El Calafate Historical Interpretation Center and the beautiful Reserva Laguna Nimez, which is about a 20-minute stroll from there.

I had a lovely 2-night stay at Boutique Hotel La Cantera. The staff provided very nice service and helped arrange a mini-trek tour, enhancing my experience. Minor downside, the 15-minute uphill walk from town requires some effort. A nice visit.

The views from our Superior Double/Twin Room were absolutely stunning, and I loved taking time to unwind at the sun terrace after a long day. They offer a great massage service which I really enjoyed and a lovely solarium for those chill moments. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi wasn’t super fast, but it didn’t ruin the great vibe! 😊

A shuttle service more frequently would be helpful.

Cozy vibes with a view!
This place is super cozy! The lounge has an amazing view of the lake, and those sun beds outside were perfect for chillin'. Our room had a hot tub, which was such a treat after long hikes. Staff was friendly and breakfast was really nice, though the carpets had a bit of an off smell.

We had an amazing time at the hotel! The kids loved the organized boat trip we took. Our room was comfortable, and we enjoyed free Wi-Fi and cable TV during our stay. The breakfast selection was also quite delightful!
My children wanted more kid-friendly activities on-site.
